Description

The Moxa UPort 2210 is a 2-port RS-232 USB-to-serial converter that adds two DB9 male serial ports to a computer through a single USB Type-B connection. It is suited to connecting industrial equipment, PLCs, sensors, point-of-sale devices and legacy serial peripherals to modern PCs and laptops that no longer include native serial ports.

The converter supports baudrates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps with full RS-232 modem control signals, and is powered directly from the USB port, so no external power supply is required. Drivers are available for Windows, Linux (including Arm-based platforms) and macOS, with support for VMware Fusion and Parallels Desktop virtual machines. It is part of the UPort 2210/2410 series and is built in a compact polycarbonate housing.
