Description

The Moxa NPort 6650-16-T is a 16-port RS-232/422/485 secure terminal server that connects serial devices to an Ethernet network. Built for industrial deployments, it runs on 100-240 VAC and is rated for operation from -40 to 75°C, with 16 serial ports on 8-pin RJ45 connectors and a 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet port.

Security is built in, with SSH, HTTPS (TLS 1.2) and SNMPv3 support, plus secure operation modes such as Secure Real COM, Secure TCP Client/Server, Secure Pair Connection and Reverse SSH. Authentication can be handled through a local database, RADIUS or TACACS+, and optional NM Series expansion modules add extra RJ45 or fibre Ethernet ports.
