Description

The UPort 1650-8-G2 is an industrial USB to 8-port serial converter that connects eight RS-232/422/485 DB9 devices to a single USB host port. This non-isolated model has software-selectable serial modes on every port, a SuperSpeed USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface and a metal IP20 housing rated for 0 to 60°C operation.

Each port supports baudrates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps with a 512-byte FIFO, and RS-485 operation includes automatic data direction control with built-in terminator and pull high/low resistors. It can be powered from the USB bus or an external 12-48 VDC adapter, with drivers available for Windows, Linux, macOS and Android.
