Description

The Moxa UPort 1610-8-G2 is an industrial USB to 8-port RS-232 serial converter that lets a computer connect up to eight legacy serial devices through a single USB 3.2 Gen 1 port. This RS-232 only, non-isolated model uses DB9 male connectors, supports baudrates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps and operates from 0 to 60°C, making it well suited to control rooms, test benches and industrial edge connectivity deployments.

A 512-byte FIFO and flow control help maintain reliable data transfer across all eight ports, and nonstandard baudrates are supported for specialised equipment. Drivers are provided for a broad selection of operating systems, including Windows and Linux, and the unit is USB 1.1/2.0 compliant for use with older host systems.
