Description

The Moxa UPort 1450I-G2 is an industrial USB 3.2 Gen 1 to 4-port RS-232/422/485 serial converter with 2 kV isolation protection. It adds four DB9 male serial ports to a PC or embedded host over a single USB Type B connection, and suits industrial automation, machine control and device-monitoring deployments where electrical isolation protects connected equipment. Its metal housing is rated IP20 and it operates from 0 to 60°C.

Each port supports RS-232, RS-422, RS-485-2w and RS-485-4w, with Automatic Data Direction Control for RS-485 and baudrates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps. A 512-byte FIFO supports reliable throughput. The converter is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1, and can be powered from the USB bus or an external 12 to 48 VDC adaptor. Drivers cover Windows, Linux, macOS and Android, plus Arm-based platforms.
