Description

The UPort 1450I-G2/KC is an industrial 4-port USB to RS-232/422/485 serial converter (KC certified variant) that connects four DB9 serial devices to a single USB 3.2 Gen 1 port. It offers 2 kV isolation protection on the serial ports and a metal IP20 housing for dependable operation across a 0 to 60°C range, suited to factory automation, data acquisition and equipment monitoring.

Each port supports baudrates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps, automatic data direction control for RS-485 and a 512-byte FIFO. It is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 hosts, can be powered from the USB bus or an external 12 to 48 VDC adaptor, and is supported by drivers for Windows, Linux and macOS, with an Android API for Arm-based platforms and virtual machines.
