Description

The UPort 1410-G2/KC is a 4-port RS-232 USB-to-serial converter that connects legacy serial devices to a modern host over USB 3.2 Gen 1. Each port uses a DB9 male connector, and the unit supports baudrates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps with a 512-byte FIFO, making it well suited to industrial automation, data acquisition and device configuration work. This /KC model operates across a 0 to 60 C temperature range.

Housed in a rugged IP20 metal enclosure, the converter can be powered from the USB bus or from an external 12 to 48 VDC adapter. It is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1, supports non-standard baudrates, and ships with driver support for Windows and Linux, so it drops into existing serial-based setups with minimal change.
