Description

The UPort 1250I is a 2-port USB to serial hub that adds two RS-232/422/485 serial ports to a laptop or workstation over Hi-Speed USB 2.0. It supports a maximum baudrate of 921.6 kbps and includes 2 kV isolation protection, making it well suited to connecting serial instruments, controllers and industrial devices in electrically noisy environments.

Part of the UPort 1000 Series, it includes a Mini-DB9-female-to-terminal-block adapter for simple wiring, LED indicators for USB and TxD/RxD activity, and drivers for Windows, WinCE and Linux. USB plug and play operation means no IRQ, DMA or I/O address resources are required.
