Description

The Moxa UPort 1250 is a 2-port USB to RS-232/422/485 serial hub that connects legacy serial devices such as instrumentation and point-of-sale equipment to a PC over Hi-Speed USB 2.0. This non-isolated model supports a maximum baudrate of 921.6 kbps and includes mini-DB9-female-to-terminal-block adapters for simple field wiring.

The UPort 1250 provides 15 kV ESD protection on its serial ports and LED indicators for USB and TxD/RxD activity, making installation and troubleshooting straightforward. Drivers are available for Windows, WinCE and Linux, which suits both office and industrial deployments. For applications that need electrical isolation, the isolated UPort 1250I variant adds 2 kV isolation.
