Description

The Moxa UPort 1250-G2-T is a 2-port RS-232/422/485 USB-to-serial converter with a SuperSpeed USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface, built for industrial automation and field deployments. This non-isolated wide temperature model is rated for operation from -40 to 75°C, and its metal housing suits control cabinets and harsh environments.

Each DB9 male serial port is software-selectable between RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485, with baudrates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps and a 512-byte FIFO. Automatic Data Direction Control simplifies RS-485 wiring, and the unit draws power from the USB bus so no external power supply is needed. Drivers are available for Windows, Linux, macOS and Android, with Arm-based platform support.

A: No. The UPort 1250-G2-T is the non-isolated model and offers 0.5 kV surge protection. The 2 kV isolation applies only to the I models in the range.
