Description

The Moxa UPort 1130I is a compact 1-port USB-to-serial converter that adds an isolated RS-422/485 serial port to any computer with a USB Type A port. With 2 kV isolation protection, it safeguards both the host PC and connected serial devices from ground loops and electrical surges, making it well suited to industrial automation, building management and test equipment connections.

The UPort 1130I supports baudrates from 50 bps up to 921.6 kbps and is powered directly from the USB port. A mini-DB9-female-to-terminal-block adapter is included for simple field wiring, and drivers are provided for Windows, macOS, Linux and WinCE. Activity LEDs show USB and TxD/RxD status at a glance.
