Description

The UPort 1130 is a 1-port RS-422/485 USB-to-serial converter that adds a DB9 male serial port to a laptop or workstation through a USB Type-A connection. This non-isolated model is plug-and-play and suited to mobile, instrumentation and point-of-sale applications where a native serial port is not available.

The converter is USB 2.0 compatible at 12 Mbps and supports serial baudrates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps. It draws its power directly from the USB port, so no external power supply is required. Its compact housing measures 37.5 x 20.5 x 60 mm and weighs 65 g, and driver support covers Windows, Linux and macOS.
