Description

The Moxa NPort S9650I-16-2HV-E-T is a 16-port RS-232/422/485 serial device server with a built-in managed Ethernet switch, designed for rugged 19-inch rack deployments such as power substations. It features 2HV power inputs accepting 88 to 300 VDC or 85 to 264 VAC, a 2-port 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 Ethernet module, and an extended operating range of -40 to 85°C.

Hardware-based IEEE 1588v2 PTP and IRIG-B time synchronisation, Modbus TCP and DNP3 protocol support, and Turbo Ring, Turbo Chain and RSTP redundancy make it well suited to utility and industrial automation networks. Serial ports provide 2 kV isolation and 4 kV surge protection, and Real COM, Real TTY and Fixed TTY drivers support Windows, Linux and Unix hosts.
