Description

The NPort S9450I-WV-T is a rugged 4-port RS-232/422/485 serial device server with a built-in 5-port 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 managed Ethernet switch, powered from 24/48 VDC. It is built for power substation and harsh industrial environments, with a -40 to 85°C operating range and compliance with IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613. This variant has no fibre ports and uses a dual-input 24/48 VDC supply (18 to 72 VDC).

Serial ports support baudrates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps with 2 kV isolation and 4 kV surge protection. Operation modes include Real COM, RFC2217, TCP Client, TCP Server, UDP, Modbus and DNP3, along with IEC 61850 MMS support, and the integrated switch provides Turbo Ring, Turbo Chain and RSTP redundancy. The metal housing mounts on a DIN rail or on a wall with an optional kit.
