Description

The NPort S9450I-2M-ST-WV-T is a rugged 4-port RS-232/422/485 serial device server with a built-in managed Ethernet switch, built for electrical substations and harsh industrial environments. This variant provides 3 x 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 ports and 2 x multi-mode ST fibre ports, powered from a 24/48 VDC input (18 to 72 VDC) with dual power inputs for redundancy.

IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 compliance, a metal housing, DIN-rail mounting and a -40 to 85°C operating range suit it to power utility and process automation sites. It supports Real COM, RFC2217, TCP and UDP operation modes plus Modbus and DNP3 gateway functions, with Turbo Ring, Turbo Chain and RSTP for Ethernet redundancy.
