Description

The Moxa NPort S8455I-T is an industrial combo device server that pairs a 4-port RS-232/422/485 serial device server with a built-in 5-port 10/100M managed Ethernet switch. It is designed for connecting serial equipment to Ethernet networks in harsh environments, with 5 x 10/100BaseT(X) copper ports and a -40 to 75°C wide operating temperature range. Serial ports are protected by 2 kV isolation.

Serial QoS lets you prioritise serial data transmission, while Turbo Ring, Turbo Chain and STP/RSTP provide Ethernet redundancy. The unit accepts 12 to 48 VDC power input, includes 2 digital inputs and 2 alarm contact channels, and mounts on a DIN rail, with optional wall mounting. It complies with UL 508 industrial safety requirements.
