Description

The Moxa NPort S8455I-MM-SC is a 4-port RS-232/422/485 serial device server with a built-in managed Ethernet switch, built for industrial networks. It provides 3 x 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 ports and 2 x 100BaseFX multi-mode SC fiber ports, so serial equipment and Ethernet devices can be connected through a single DIN-rail unit rated for 0 to 60 °C operation.

Redundant 12-48 VDC power inputs, two alarm contact channels and two digital inputs support dependable deployment on the plant floor. Ethernet redundancy through Turbo Ring, Turbo Chain and RSTP/STP, along with Serial QoS for prioritising serial data transmission, helps keep legacy serial devices connected on modern IP networks.
