Description

The Moxa NPort P5150A-T is a 1-port RS-232/422/485 PoE serial device server that connects serial devices to an Ethernet network. This -T variant is rated for wide-temperature operation from -40 to 75°C, making it suited to industrial cabinets, outdoor enclosures and other demanding edge connectivity deployments.

The device is an IEEE 802.3af PoE powered device, so it can be powered through the Ethernet cable, or alternatively from a 12 to 48 VDC power input jack. Real COM and TTY drivers for Windows, Linux and macOS, along with TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, RFC2217 and other operation modes, let it integrate with a wide range of serial devices and host software. Built-in surge protection on the serial, Ethernet and power interfaces, plus a metal housing, support reliable long-term operation.
