Description

The Moxa NPort IA5450I-G2-T is an industrial 4-port RS-232/422/485 serial device server that connects legacy serial equipment to Ethernet networks. It provides four software-selectable DB9 male serial ports with 2 kV serial isolation, and the -T variant is rated for wide temperature operation from -40 to 75°C, suiting harsh factory, utility and outdoor cabinet environments.

Two 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 Ethernet ports act as a built-in switch for simple cascading, or can be configured with the same or dual IP addresses for network redundancy. Multiple socket and secure operation modes, including Real COM, TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, Reverse Terminal, RFC2217 and Secure Real COM, allow flexible integration with existing software and SCADA systems. The rugged metal DIN-rail housing includes full surge protection.
