Description

The NPort IA5450AI-T is a 4-port RS-232/422/485 industrial serial device server that connects serial devices to Ethernet networks. It provides 2 kV serial isolation and a wide -40 to 75°C operating temperature range, making it suited to factory floors, utilities and other harsh environments where reliable serial-to-Ethernet connectivity is required.

Two 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 ports share a single IP address, and dual 12 to 48 VDC power inputs support redundant power. The metal housing mounts on a DIN rail, and the unit carries ATEX Zone 2, Class I Division 2 and IECEx hazardous location certifications. Operation modes include Real COM, Reverse Telnet, RFC2217, TCP Server/Client, UDP and Pair Connection, with driver support for Windows, Linux, macOS and Android.
