Description

The Moxa NPort IA5450A-T is a 4-port RS-232/422/485 serial device server for industrial automation, connecting serial devices to Ethernet networks through DB9 male ports with no serial isolation. This wide-temperature model operates from -40 to 75°C and offers serial, LAN and power surge protection, making it well suited to harsh factory floors, outdoor cabinets and hazardous locations.

Two 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 Ethernet ports share a single IP address, and dual 12 to 48 VDC power inputs support redundant power. A metal housing with DIN-rail mounting suits control cabinets, and ATEX Zone 2, UL/cUL Class I Division 2 and IECEx certifications cover hazardous environments. Real COM, Reverse Telnet, TCP, UDP and RFC2217 operation modes ease integration with existing serial software, while HTTPS, SNMPv3 and AES-128 add security.
