Description

The Moxa NPort IA5450A is a 4-port RS-232/422/485 industrial device server that connects serial equipment to an Ethernet network. This standard temperature model operates from 0 to 60°C and provides two cascading 10/100BaseT(X) ports that can share a single IP address or run dual IP addresses for network redundancy. Enhanced surge protection for LAN, serial and power makes it well suited to factory automation, utilities and process control installations.

Dual redundant 12 to 48 VDC power inputs, a relay output and built-in buzzer keep the device server reliable and easy to monitor in the field. It is configured through a web console, Windows utility or Telnet, and supports SNMP management with real COM and TTY drivers for Windows, Linux and macOS. The metal housing mounts on a DIN rail or a wall, and hazardous location approvals include UL/cUL Class 1 Division 2, ATEX Zone 2 and IECEx.
