Description

The Moxa NPort IA5450-G2 is an industrial 4-port RS-232/422/485 serial device server that connects serial equipment to Ethernet networks. It provides four software-selectable DB9 male serial ports and two 10/100 Ethernet RJ45 ports, in the standard temperature (-10 to 60°C), non-isolated variant of the NPort IA5000-G2 Series.

Built for DIN-rail installation in a metal IP30 housing, it accepts redundant 12 to 48 VDC power inputs and includes a relay output for alarms. Secure operation modes such as Secure Real COM, Reverse SSH and Secure TCP, backed by Secure Boot and a hardware random number generator, support security-conscious deployments. Real COM and TTY drivers cover Windows, Linux and macOS, and ATEX, Class I Division 2 and IECEx hazardous location approvals suit regulated sites.
