Description

The NPort IA5250I-G2-T is a 2-port RS-232/422/485 serial device server for connecting serial equipment to Ethernet networks in harsh industrial environments. This wide temperature model operates from -40 to 75°C and provides 2 kV serial isolation on both DB9 male serial ports, protecting connected devices from electrical interference and surges. Two 10/100 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet ports with built-in 1.5 kV magnetic isolation are included.

Security is built in, with Secure Boot, a True Random Number Generator, HTTPS (TLS 1.2), SSHv2 and SNMPv3 support, plus secure operation modes including Secure Real COM, Secure TCP Server/Client and Reverse SSH. The metal IP30 DIN-rail housing accepts 12 to 48 VDC with redundant dual power inputs and a relay output via an 8-pin terminal block. Real COM and TTY drivers are available for Windows, Linux and macOS, with an Android API for mobile integration.
