Description

The NPort IA5250I-G2 is a 2-port RS-232/422/485 industrial serial device server that connects serial equipment to Ethernet networks. It provides two DB9 male serial ports with 2 kV serial isolation and two 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 Ethernet ports, in a DIN-rail IP30 metal housing rated for -10 to 60°C standard temperature operation.

Security and flexibility are built in, with secure boot, a true random number generator and encrypted operation modes including Secure Real COM, Secure TCP Server/Client and Reverse SSH. Windows Real COM, Linux Real TTY and macOS fixed TTY drivers are supported, along with ATEX, Class I Division 2 and IECEx hazardous location certifications and DNV maritime certification with 24 VDC power input.
