Description

The Moxa NPort IA5250AI-IEX is a 2-port RS-232/422/485 industrial device server that connects serial equipment to an Ethernet network. This variant adds 2 kV serial isolation and IECEx certification for hazardous locations, with an operating range of 0 to 60°C. Serial, LAN and power surge protection help keep connected equipment safe in electrically noisy plant environments.

Two 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet ports share a single IP address for simple cascading, and dual DC power inputs (12 to 48 VDC) provide redundancy. Real COM and Real TTY drivers for Windows, Linux and macOS, plus Reverse Telnet, RFC2217, TCP Server/Client, UDP and Pair Connection modes, make it straightforward to integrate legacy serial devices into modern industrial networks.
