Description

The NPort IA5250AI is a 2-port RS-232/422/485 industrial device server that connects serial devices to an Ethernet network. It provides 2 kV serial isolation and a standard 0 to 60°C operating range, with two 10/100BaseT(X) ports sharing a single IP address for simple daisy-chained cabling. It suits industrial automation, factory and process control deployments that need dependable serial-to-Ethernet connectivity.

Support for Real COM, TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, RFC2217 and Reverse Telnet modes lets legacy serial equipment work with modern software without rewriting applications. Dual 12 to 48 VDC power inputs, a metal housing and DIN-rail mounting suit control cabinet installation, and ATEX and Class I Division 2 hazardous location certification supports use in regulated environments.
