Description

The Moxa NPort IA5250A-T is a 2-port RS-232/422/485 industrial serial device server that connects serial equipment to an Ethernet network. This -T model is built for harsh environments with a wide -40 to 75 C operating temperature range and non-isolated serial ports, and it includes surge protection for serial, LAN and power connections.

Two 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 Ethernet ports can share a single IP address or run on dual IP addresses for network redundancy, and they can be cascaded for simple wiring. Redundant 12-48 VDC power inputs, screw-type terminal blocks and a relay output with email alerts suit industrial automation, with C1D2 and ATEX hazardous location ratings and a wide set of operation modes including TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, Real COM and Reverse Telnet.
