Description

The NPort IA5250A-IEX is a 2-port RS-232/422/485 industrial serial device server that connects serial devices to Ethernet networks in hazardous locations. This standard temperature, non-isolated model operates from 0 to 60°C and carries IECEx, ATEX Zone 2 and UL/cUL Class I Division 2 approvals, making it suited to industrial automation and process environments that require certified equipment.

Two 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet ports share a single IP address, and dual 12 to 48 VDC power inputs support redundant power feeds. Operation modes include Real COM, TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, Reverse Telnet, RFC2217 and Pair Connection, with Real COM and TTY drivers for Windows, Linux and macOS. Serial, LAN and power surge protection, a metal housing and DIN-rail mounting suit control cabinet installations.
