Description

The NPort IA5250A is a 2-port RS-232/422/485 serial device server that connects industrial serial devices to an Ethernet network. This standard temperature model operates from 0 to 60°C and is built for industrial automation, with serial, LAN and power surge protection, a metal DIN-rail housing and dual 12 to 48 VDC power inputs.

Two 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet ports support cascading wiring on a single IP address, which simplifies installation in control cabinets. Operation modes include Real COM, Reverse Telnet, RFC2217, TCP Client, TCP Server and UDP, with drivers available for Windows, Linux real TTY, macOS fixed TTY and Android API. Hazardous location approvals cover ATEX Zone 2 and UL Class I Division 2.
