Description

The Moxa NPort IA5150I-S-SC-G2-T is a 1-port RS-232/422/485 industrial serial device server that connects legacy serial equipment to Ethernet and fibre networks. It combines an RJ45 port with a single-mode SC fibre port (100BaseFX, up to 40 km), 2 kV serial isolation and a -40 to 75°C operating range, suiting harsh DIN-rail deployments such as factory floors, substations and outdoor cabinets.

Software-selectable serial interface modes, automatic data direction control for RS-485 and a wide set of operation modes including Real COM, TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, Reverse Terminal, RFC2217 and Pair Connection give flexible integration with SCADA, PLC and monitoring systems. Secure modes such as Secure Real COM, Secure TCP Server and Reverse SSH protect serial data across the network.
