Description

The Moxa NPort IA5150I-S-SC-G2 is a 1-port RS-232/422/485 industrial serial device server with a single-mode SC fibre port and an RJ45 Ethernet port, built for serial-to-Ethernet connectivity in industrial automation. The 100BaseFX single-mode SC fibre interface supports typical distances of up to 40 km, while 2 kV serial isolation protects connected serial equipment in electrically noisy environments. It operates across -10 to 60°C.

Part of the NPort IA5000-G2 Series, this DIN-rail mount unit in a metal IP30 housing supports redundant 12 to 48 VDC power inputs and software-selectable serial interface modes. Secure operation modes, HTTPS, SNMPv3 and SSHv2 help protect serial data across the network, and Real COM, TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP and Reverse Terminal modes cover a wide range of serial device applications.
