Description

The NPort IA5150I-G2 is a 1-port industrial serial device server that connects one software-selectable RS-232/422/485 serial port to Ethernet. It features 2 kV serial isolation, two RJ45 10/100 Ethernet ports for daisy-chained connections and a standard -10 to 60°C operating range, making it well suited to connecting legacy serial equipment in factory, utility and building automation networks.

The metal IP30 housing mounts on a DIN rail and supports redundant 12 to 48 VDC power inputs with a relay output. Secure operation modes such as Secure Real COM, Secure TCP Server/Client and Reverse SSH, together with Secure Boot and a TRNG root of trust, help protect serial traffic. Real COM/TTY drivers cover Windows, Linux and macOS, and hazardous-location approvals include ATEX, Class I Division 2 and IECEx.
