Description

The Moxa NPort IA5150AI-T-IEX is a 1-port RS-232/422/485 serial device server for connecting legacy serial equipment to an Ethernet network in demanding industrial automation environments. It carries IECEx certification for hazardous locations, provides 2 kV serial isolation and operates across a wide -40 to 75°C temperature range, making it well suited to harsh and remote installations.

Two 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 Ethernet ports share a single IP address, allowing daisy-chain topologies without an extra switch. Dual 12 to 48 VDC power inputs, a metal housing and built-in serial, LAN and power surge protection support dependable long-term operation. Multiple operation modes including Real COM, TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, RFC2217 and Reverse Telnet make integration with SCADA, PLC and monitoring software straightforward.
