Description

The NPort IA5150-S-SC-G2 is an industrial serial device server that connects one software-selectable RS-232/422/485 serial port to Ethernet. This variant combines a 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 port with a 100BaseFX single-mode SC fibre port for runs of up to 40 km, and operates across a -10 to 60°C temperature range in a rugged IP30 metal DIN-rail housing.

Security and flexibility are built in, with Secure Boot, a TRNG root of trust, HTTPS, SSHv2 and SNMPv3, plus standard and secure operation modes such as Real COM, TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, Reverse Terminal and Reverse SSH. Dual 12 to 48 VDC power inputs with a relay output, and hazardous-location (ATEX, Class I Div 2, IECEx) and DNV maritime certifications, make it suited to factory automation, utilities and marine installations.
