Description

The Moxa NPort IA5150-M-ST-G2 is a 1-port RS-232/422/485 industrial serial device server with a 100BaseFX multi-mode fibre port (ST connector) and a built-in RJ45 10/100BaseT(X) port. It connects PLCs, sensors, meters and other serial automation devices to Ethernet networks, with fibre support for up to 4 km runs in electrically noisy or long-distance industrial environments.

This second-generation DIN-rail unit supports Real COM, TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, Reverse Terminal, RFC2217 and Pair Connection modes, plus secure SSH and TLS-based modes for serial-over-IP. One-click diagnostics, embedded traffic monitoring and surge protection help simplify commissioning and troubleshooting, while the 12 to 48 VDC input and IP30 housing suit control cabinet installations.
