Description

The Moxa NPort IA-5250I is a 2-port RS-232/422/485 serial device server from the NPort IA5000 range, built to connect serial equipment to an Ethernet network in industrial automation environments. It provides 2 kV serial isolation, two 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 Ethernet ports that share a single IP address and support Ethernet cascading, and operates across a 0 to 55°C temperature range.

A compact IP30 plastic housing with DIN-rail mounting and dual redundant DC power inputs suits control cabinets and plant-floor installations. Socket modes include TCP server, TCP client and UDP, with automatic data direction control for 2-wire and 4-wire RS-485, and relay output and email alerts to flag faults.
