Description

The Moxa NPort IA-5150I-T is an industrial 1-port RS-232/422/485 serial device server that connects serial devices to an IP network. It adds dual RJ45 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet ports with a built-in switch for daisy-chaining, 2 kV serial isolation, and a -40 to 75°C wide operating temperature range, making it well suited to harsh industrial automation environments.

The single multi-mode serial port supports RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485, so one unit can serve a range of legacy PLCs, meters, sensors and controllers. The compact IP30 plastic housing mounts on a DIN rail and runs from a 12 to 48 VDC supply, fitting neatly into control cabinets and field enclosures.
