Description

The Moxa NPort IA-5150I-S-SC is a 1-port RS-232/422/485 serial device server that connects a serial device to a 100BaseFX single-mode SC fibre network over distances of up to 40 km. It provides 2 kV serial isolation and 1.5 kV built-in Ethernet magnetic isolation, making it well suited to noisy industrial sites and high ground-loop voltage environments.

Built for DIN-rail installation in an IP30 plastic housing, it runs from dual redundant 12 to 48 VDC inputs and operates from 0 to 55 C. A relay output and email alerts report faults, while TCP server, TCP client and UDP socket modes plus patented ADDC for 2-wire and 4-wire RS-485 simplify integration. ATEX and Class I Division 2 hazardous location certifications are supported.
