Description

The NPort IA5150-S-SC is an industrial 1-port RS-232/422/485 serial device server with a single-mode fibre SC port, built to connect serial equipment to Ethernet networks over long, noise-immune fibre links. This standard temperature (0 to 55°C), non-isolated serial model suits factory, utility and building automation deployments where serial devices need to be reached over fibre.

A 100BaseFX single-mode SC port is paired with two 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 ports, one for the IP connection and one for Ethernet cascading to daisy-chain nearby devices. Dual DC power inputs with a relay output, 1.5 kV built-in magnetic isolation and DIN-rail mounting in an IP30 plastic housing make it a practical fit for control cabinets. Real TTY drivers for Windows and Linux, plus an Android API, simplify integration with existing serial applications.
