Description

The Moxa NPort 6650-8-T is an 8-port RS-232/422/485 secure terminal server that connects serial devices to Ethernet networks. This wide temperature -T model operates from -40 to 75°C and runs from a 100 to 240 VAC power input, making it suited to industrial automation, utility and transport deployments where serial equipment must be managed over IP in harsh environments.

Eight software-selectable serial ports on 8-pin RJ45 connectors support baudrates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps, with a 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet port for network connection. Secure operation modes including SSH, Reverse SSH and Secure Real COM protect serial traffic, while the metal rackmount housing, built-in watchdog timer and optional NM Series expansion modules suit permanent installation in control cabinets and equipment racks.
