Description

The Moxa NPort 6650-8 is an 8-port RS-232/422/485 secure terminal server that connects serial devices to an Ethernet network. This 100-240 VAC model operates from 0 to 55°C and offers software-selectable serial interfaces on 8-pin RJ45 ports, making it well suited to rack-mounted industrial, data centre and network management deployments.

Secure operation modes including SSH, Reverse SSH, Secure Real COM and Secure TCP Server protect serial data in transit, while a full set of standard modes such as Real COM, TCP Server, TCP Client and UDP supports legacy applications. NM Series expansion modules add optional Ethernet ports, and an SD slot supports configuration backup and data storage.
