Description

The Moxa NPort 6650-32-48V is a 32-port RS-232/422/485 secure terminal server that connects up to 32 serial devices to Ethernet under a single IP address. It encrypts serial data with TLS and SSH, and each port can be set to RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485. This model runs from a 48 VDC supply (20 to 72 VDC, -20 to -72 VDC) and is suited to telecom, industrial and data centre racks. It is the standard-temperature variant, rated 0 to 55 °C.

The unit has 8-pin RJ45 serial connectors, one 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet port and a 19-inch rack-mount metal housing with ears included. An LCD panel and push buttons simplify IP address setup, port buffers hold serial data during network outages, and an SD slot supports up to 32 GB of extra buffering. Optional NM Series modules add Ethernet ports for redundancy, and security features are based on IEC 62443.
