Description

The NPort 6650-32 is a 32-port RS-232/422/485 secure terminal server that connects serial devices to an Ethernet network. Built for rack-mount deployment and powered from 100 to 240 VAC, this standard temperature model (0 to 55 °C) suits control rooms, data closets and industrial sites that need to consolidate many serial connections behind a single managed device.

Secure operation modes including Secure Real COM, Secure TCP Server and Client, Reverse SSH and SSH protect serial traffic, while standard modes such as Real COM, Reverse Telnet, RFC2217 and UDP cover legacy applications. Authentication is supported through a local database, RADIUS or TACACS+. NM series expansion modules add optional RJ45 and fibre Ethernet ports.
