Description

The Moxa NPort 6650-16 is a 16-port RS-232/422/485 to Ethernet secure terminal server with a 100 to 240 VAC power input and a standard operating temperature rating. It connects serial devices to IP networks and provides encrypted serial-over-IP access through secure operation modes including Secure Real COM, Secure TCP Server and Reverse SSH.

Each of the 16 serial ports uses an 8-pin RJ45 connector and supports baudrates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps. The terminal server pairs a 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet port with HTTPS (TLS 1.2), SNMPv3 and SSHv2 management security, RADIUS and TACACS+ authentication, and optional NM Series expansion modules for extra copper or fibre Ethernet ports.
