Description

The Moxa NPort 6610-8-48V is an 8-port RS-232 secure terminal server that carries serial data over Ethernet using SSL and SSH encryption. Designed for industrial edge connectivity, it connects serial devices such as PLCs, meters, controllers and POS equipment to your network. This variant is powered from a ±48 VDC input, making it a good fit for telecom and DC-powered rack environments.

The rack-mount metal chassis offers 8 RJ45 serial ports with full RS-232 modem control signals and baudrates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps. It supports secure modes including Reverse SSH, Secure Real COM and Secure TCP Server, alongside standard modes such as Real COM, TCP Server and Reverse Telnet. An SD slot, built-in watchdog timer and multiple management options simplify deployment and maintenance.
