Description

The NPort 6250-T is a 2-port RS-232/422/485 secure serial device server that connects serial equipment to an Ethernet network over a single RJ45 10/100BaseT(X) port. Its metal housing and wide -40 to 75°C operating temperature range make it well suited to industrial automation, utilities and harsh-environment deployments where standard terminal servers would fail.

Each DB9 serial port is software-selectable between RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485, with baudrates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps and support for non-standard baudrates. Secure operation modes including Secure Real COM, Secure TCP Server, Secure TCP Client and SSH, along with HTTPS and SSH configuration, protect serial traffic and remote management. It can be mounted on a desktop, a wall or a DIN-rail (optional kit) and runs from a 12 to 48 VDC supply.
