Description

The Moxa NPort 6250-S-SC-T is a 2-port secure serial device server that connects RS-232/422/485 serial devices to an Ethernet network over a single-mode 100BaseFX SC fibre port. SSL and SSH encryption protects serial data in transit, making it well suited to industrial automation, utilities and transport deployments. The wide-temperature design operates from -40 to 75°C, and this -T model does not include a power adapter.

The two DB9 male serial ports are software-selectable between RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485, with baudrates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps. Secure Real COM, Secure TCP Server and Client, Secure Pair Connection and Reverse SSH operation modes are supported alongside standard modes such as Real COM, RFC2217 and UDP. A metal housing, 1.5 kV magnetic isolation and an SD card slot for extended port buffering suit it to demanding industrial environments.
