Description

The Moxa NPort 6250-M-SC is a 2-port RS-232/422/485 secure serial device server that connects serial equipment to a 100BaseFX multi-mode fibre Ethernet network over an SC connector. It supports secure operation modes over SSL and SSH, making it well suited to protecting serial-connected industrial equipment, with a standard operating temperature range of 0 to 55°C.

Each DB9 serial port supports baudrates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps, including non-standard rates, and the unit is configurable through HTTPS, SSH, Telnet, serial console and Moxa utilities. Built-in 1.5 kV magnetic isolation, a watchdog timer and port buffering for offline Ethernet periods help keep serial data protected and flowing.
