Description

The Moxa NPort 6250-G2-T is a 2-port RS-232/422/485 secure terminal server that connects serial devices to an Ethernet network. Built for harsh industrial environments, this wide temperature model operates from -40 to 75°C and features a rugged metal housing, 1.5 kV magnetic isolation and a 12 to 48 VDC power input. It suits factory automation, energy, transport and building management deployments where serial equipment needs reliable network access.

As part of the NPort 6000-G2 range, it adds Secure Boot with a hardware root of trust, authentication via local database, RADIUS and TACACS+, and a microSD slot supporting up to 2 TB. Real TTY drivers are available for Windows and Linux, with fixed TTY drivers for macOS, making it straightforward to integrate legacy serial applications into modern IT infrastructure.
